Amazing Baby Blues

Sometimes I’m out around town (ok, or at a picnic visiting with old friends!) and I see a child that I just have to photograph.  I knew Baby A was only in town for a few days so I took the pictures while I had the chance.  I hope you like them, Abby!  She is so absolutely perfect - and her eyes really are incredible!

A Picnic at the Park

My friend and freshman year college roommate was in town last week so of course  I couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to take pictures of her two adorable children.   I had Maddie with me so it was a little more challenging than usual, but lucky for me she has absolute dream kiddos.  Her baby even posed for me.  You just can’t beat that!  You can tell that it was a typical Redding summer afternoon though - hot hot hot!

It was so nice to see you, Mary!  I’ll have the full gallery up soon.  I wish we could have done family pictures, too, but now you have an excuse to come back.

Happy Birthday!

Little Frankie is one!  The last time I took pictures of him he was a newborn.  He is such an active, adorable toddler.  In fact, he even dove head first into his little pool during our session.  He kept me on my toes, that’s for sure.  Thanks for letting me take his pictures again, N family!

Sneak peeks are coming!

After having no access to photoshop for over a month, I’ve been an editing fool the last couple of days.  It feels goooooooooood!

And of course, I have a few pictures of Miss Madeline to start off with.  She just turned 2.5 and actually asked to have her picture taken.  She asked me!  How could I resist?  Of course, it was 112 outside so we opted to do indoor pictures.  Her Grandpa brought back the cutest little Park Ranger outfit from their trip to Crater Lake, and I fully intend on getting pictures of her wearing it - but I think they need to be outdoor pictures.  So instead I let her wear the big headband that is…well, a big flower headband.  What can I say?  She loves it.  I also have one picture edited from our annual coast trip.  Every year I set up a shot so my husband can get a picture of Maddie and me.  I just love this one.  Even if I do have the most ridiculous kissy lips going on.  I still love it.

And some of Maddie’s 2.5 year old pictures:
