It’s been a crazy crazy couple of months. As a lot of you already know, my sister was killed on May 7th. It’s been a very difficult time for all of us, we miss her so much. I am putting together a tribute to her for her memorial and definitely plan to make a post in honor of her life. The pain of losing someone so close is unimaginable and she will be in my heart and thoughts always.
In addition to that, I found out that I am expecting my second baby! A HUGE surprise as we didn’t plan on having more kids. I, unfortunately, am not that happy, glowy, feeling amazing pregnant woman so I’ve been having some pretty bad morning sickness (which, ironically, is not that bad in the morning.) We have moved past being surprised and are now really excited to welcome this new addition to our family sometime this Fall. My official due date is December 2nd.
So, it stands to reason that things on the photography front have been relatively quiet. That should all change soon - I’m in the process of editing pictures from a wedding I shot yesterday. A lovely, beautiful, practically stress-free wedding. And yes, I did swear I would never do another wedding. I’m still not officially opening my door as a wedding photographer. Not yet. Maybe someday.
I did snap this little gem the other day. It was one of those moments that just simply had to be caught on “film”. It was pure perfection. I just did a quick edit on my laptop, I wanted to share. Such such sweetness.
