Introspective

I was going to say serious, but I really think introspective says it all.  Well, introspective and adorable!  I have been loving all of the families that I’ve had the opportunity to work with lately.  Families used to make me really nervous - it’s hard enough to get a good natural expression on one person, but an entire family?!  The interaction and just love for each other is what it’s all about though.  There’s just nothing like a parent’s love for a child.

So, here they are - another gorgeous family!

Hooray for Sunshine!

This shoot was originally scheduled for last weekend and was supposed to be an outdoor first birthday party, but the weather just didn’t want to cooperate.  Today little L wasn’t so keen on cooperating (can you blame him?  who wants a stranger putting some weird looking camera in their face making funny sounds and dancing around like a lunatic to try to get you to look at them?) but really he did great.  I had a lot of fun and am excited for you guys to see all of your proofs!  Here are a few that I got edited tonight.

One of the best things about October

The Pumpkin Patch!  Well, and the weather.  And Halloween.  And Katelyn’s birthday.  But the pumpkin patch is pretty high up there.  It’s not even the greatest place to take pictures, mostly just full sun, and lots of dirt!  Something about it though is still so fun and it’s a for sure sign that fall is here!  I have yet to make it on the weekend when the train is running and all of the activities are there, but it’s still a great place to kill some time.
