In the last few weeks I’ve had the opportunity to photograph not one but two amazing families. I’m so grateful to have joined a wonderful mom’s group a few months ago. Maddie and I have not only already made some great new friends but I have also found (brave) people that are actually willing to let me take their portraits! I love it! I’m really hoping to have my portfolio full of new faces and my business going by the beginning of next year. It’s so exciting.

Last night I got to do another family session. It was so hot out (gotta love August in Redding) but everyone did great! I had so much fun - I still get nervous before a shoot, but then I start taking pictures and I forget all about the nerves and just love seeing people come alive behind the camera.
