This entire family (even the dog!) was so incredibly beautiful. Truly stunning family. I’m so excited to meet your new baby boy in a few weeks! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek, R family. I had so much fun taking pictures with you guys!

Welcome to the blog for Anne DeCamp Photography. You will find everything from random musings to special offers to session sneak peeks here. Over the course of the next year I will be offering new products and running various specials and blog contests so I hope you check back often!

I bought this dress for Maddie a few months ago and had the idea to bring her rocking chair to this field. Last weeked I let Kate borrow my D70 and so we got Maddie dressed and took her out for a photoshoot together. So much fun. The light was absolutely perfect and of course I couldn’t have asked for a better model. Haha! Actually, I’m really grateful that Maddie doesn’t suffer from PKS (photographer’s kid syndrome) and hopefully will always let me take pictures of her! One of these days I might actually get some printed for our house. Maybe…

Is smiley even a word? Ten more days until nursing school starts and I have to quit this staying up until the wee hours editing pictures and then writing nonsensical blogs. I promise I won’t start writing really boring (or gross) nursing school related blogs though. I’ll probably be too busy to blog…waaaaaah. I hope not.
Anyway, I had the best session on Tuesday with two week old baby M. She is absolutely beautiful with her dainty little features. It was a really fun session, too. Her big sister was an adorable and very helpful assistant and I even left with some custom preschool artwork. All around you really can’t ask for a better photo shoot. Congratulations S family on your baby girl!

I’m super sleepy (hmmmm. wonder why. claire?) tonight but I wanted to quickly post a few pics for my friends! We spent the weekend in Oregon with some life-long friends and I got to take newborn pics and adorable kid pics. So fun!!

More to come, I promise! But I am falling asleep at the computer tonight. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
I had the chance to work with my friend Sarah again (http://www.sarahelizabethportraits.com) and we took pictures of baby C on her one week birthday! We tried out some new ideas, a new basket, and best of all got to snuggle with a brand new baby. I swear there’s nothing better!

Yeah, so I had a hard time narrowing down which adorable images to post! But really, can you ever have too many adorable newborn baby pictures? Nope!
…to this. In just two years. Just more proof that they grow up way too fast.
More coast pictures coming soon!

So, I wanted to post these last Sunday. Actually I guess now it’s the Sunday before last - instead I got hit by a nasty stomach bug. I didn’t want to post them before the 11th because I was using one of them to make a birthday present for Maddie’s best friend Ellie and I wanted it to be a surprise. But then Maddie and I both got sick and we didn’t even get to go to the birthday party. So disappointing. In fact, her adorable birthday present is still hanging on the back of my closet door. Ah, life…
Love you Miss Ellie, beautiful ballerina!

I actually do have two posts to write, but this one is in celebration of Frankie turning 2! I have been photographing this adorable boy since he was a newborn baby. He definitely kept me on my toes this morning, but that’s a good thing. Especially considering how klutzy I can be. No, in all seriousness we had fun exploring his yard and capturing his cuteness. It’s been so fun watching him grow!

I can’t post pictures from the session I had on Wednesday until Sunday. It’s top secret. Well, not top secret but…ok, top secret. So you’ll just have to wait!
I need an automatic blog post title maker. I’m sure they have some randomizer out there that does something like that. It would be kind of funny for a month to have blog titles on these personal posts of mine that were completely bizarre and non-sensical. Anyway, in keeping with my 4th of July theme I’ve been practicing shooting wide open. Today Claire was my willing subject, her eyes are so unbelievably beautiful!
